    Thanks Shane.

It sounds like Avid needs to hire a team of experienced Editors to fix some of these problems that’s driving their entire community nuts.
As far as “editing to the beat” goes, I should re-phrase that to “move to the beat”.

  • Its completely random lenths.

  • Thanks Guys,

I have 5.5 so I’m not too sure why this is? I will give the subclip rout a shot and see what happens. I started re-exporting the files to a DNxHD format using MPEG Encoder then I will import. It worked on a testing level so hopefully it’ll work with everything else.

    Still open to suggestions.

    Thanks!

    Hi Tina,

I used clip wrap to convert all of the Sony footage to the DnXHD codec. Once I do this, the file comes out as a .mov file? Is this correct? Once it’s done do I do an import or a Link to AMA?

    Thanks a million.

I’ve got 5.5 but I can’t do a AMA link for some reason?

    Thanks Tina,

The Clip Wrap totally worked. Do you know if Avid works with Apple Pro Res 422? I can’t seem to import or link to it. If not I’ve got FCP but I’d rather be using Avid at this point.

    Thanks!

Do you know which Driver I need to instal for the AMA to work with my DSLR? Can you send me the link?

    Thanks!

Just to be clear, I go from H264 to DNxHD?

    Thanks!
