I will take a look at the mocha plugin. I tried the rotoscope option but I find it rather difficult. The guy is running in front of the objects I would like to remove. Here’s a picture:

Does that mean I have to do the rotoscope of the legs frame by frame?

I will clean up the background and re-composite by using rotoscoping.

I think the video you posted helps tremendously. I had actually seen it on Youtube but wasn’t sure if it would do the trick oO

Hello Ty,

I just researched “Deal Memo” after reading your answer. That would be very helpful indeed. I will have to look into the rights/license section as well.

For now I will keep editing. Once I have the picture locked I will draft a Deal Memo and approach several sound studios. At that stage I might get back to you and/or Peter Groom (thank you for recommending him).

Thank you again, and, although I don’t know a lot about sound (yet), I have to say it’s one fascinating and often underappreciated art form!

That actually makes a lot of (common) sense to talk it over with the sound designers.

Since I don’t have too much money to spend on post sound, when approaching sound studios (I’m from Germany), is there anything I should look out for/keep it mind?
