I also tried both opening a new project, and testing another camera, and niether of these allow me device control either.

There is definitely no audio. In the projet manager window, the icon next to the particular clips with no audio have only a film strip icon with the speaker on top of it, designating audio. I just need to know how I can recapture those clips, overwriting the old ones, using the same file names and same timecode.
