    Hi there,

Thanks for all your help I think I’m nearly there:

How do I get it to look like the original T before I edited it, so that I can animate impact?

Thanks again for all your help!

    Hi there,

I just followed this tutorial using the dynamic tag you suggested, however if I were able to cut the text up to make solid shapes (rather than hollow ones) would I then make the parts I wanted to move have a mass and the ones I didnt 0? does that make sense? or would you go about doing this in a totally different way?

I’ve read about thinking particles but this scares me somewhat 🙂

    Many thanks

Thanks for your help on this.

so if I want the text to be solid I need to make it a rigid body dynamic?

If so how do I make my colide object react with the text?

Also if I wanted to split my text manually can I do it like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oln5uNOu3U0 if so how?

Sorry for all the questions, its just I’m finding so many tutorials/forum threads all saying different things.

    Many thanks

    Thanks for your speedy reply!

Yeah,I did try this but the reason I wanted to recreate it with particular is because of more particle type options.

I was thinking that maybe by making two null objects, I could parent one to the other, and then move the child null out a few hundred pixels. Then spin the parent null, which will then spin the child. However I believe I would need an expression to tie the particular emitter position to the child null, and my knowledge of expressions is very limitd, plus if I select a emitter type to layer (my logo) this turns off the x,y position. 🙁

Oh I should mention that I’ve tried using a motion path on the Air but that doesn’t seem to work either 🙁

When I tried this expression it did the same thing as Adriano Ninguem suggested earlier in the thread – Am I doing something wrong?? The effect I’m after is for the numbers to randomise and reveal a word

    15637he7839
    15637hel839
    15637hell90
    15637hello0

does that make sense to anyone?
