Since I’ve already started enough threads here this week and my question relates to Adobe Audition I will add to this thread, as it also relates to the noise issue. I remember at one point, if I had noise, background hum, ambient noise, etc. I could go to effects>noise reduction/restoration>Capture Noise Print, followed by Noise Reduction (Process) after highlighting a portion of the timeline where only noise appeared, and when I applied Noise Reduction it would remove that sound from the whole audio track.
Now (and not just cc 2015.3 but even the previous version) it only removes it from the highlighted portion. If I un-highlight it, the noise doesn’t get removed at all. So I have to repeat the process for every section that has noise, which is a pain.
The same problem also exists if I use Learn Sound Model and Sound Remover (Process).
Any ideas?

Well, I cleared my cache but that didn’t help. Guess I’ll try clearing my preferences.

I don’t have Premiere Pro open right now but isn’t it set up where you can double click a nested sequence and it will open another sequence with the original layout of the clips in the nest? I think so…

Oh yeah, Jacob, the updates run real slow, that’s why I went back to last year’s model until they issue some updates. And, yeah, Photoshop screwed up the last version on me as well.
As for different sized monitors, yeah, 32″ and 22″, but as I said, the cc 2015 version did and still does behave properly, opening in the smaller monitor in a size that fits the screen, not spills offscreen, and defaults to the last format I used.
Oh well, I need some adventure in my life 😉

I really have no preferences set other than cache size (which I think is the default, 252gigs) and amount of RAM allocated. And it still behaves as it should in cc 2015. -
Just to add more goofiness to this thread, I can’t raise or lower the volume on any tracks. Like the OP, whenever I try, the control just snaps back to whatever arbitrary volume it deems appropriate.

Not that one, but I’ve seen a few weird behaviors to the point I’ve stopped using the update and am waiting for some update updates.

Thanks, James, but I got the email from Red Giant. As I said, all of the updates (which I didn’t need because they all magically appeared in 2015.3 and were working, but I updated anyway) have an install option for 2015.3, EXCEPT for Magic Bullet, which, ironically their website says is the only suite that DOESN’T need to be updated. Convoluted, right? 😉

I’m having a problem with .mxf files, but of course my problem has to be unique. Only some .mxf files read as unsupported. Others load with no problem.

My Sapphire plugins also disappeared when I updated Premiere Pro, but re-installing them solved the problem. However, it’s Magic Bullet, out of all the Red Giant plugins, that won’t reinstall to Premiere Pro. All their other suites have the option of installing into 2015.3 except Magic Bullet, and, ironically, all of those other suites didn’t disappear anyway so I didn’t need to re-install.
Funny things, these Adobe updates.
