No, just like after I clicked the 3 line button. Sorry if I disappointed you.

UPDATE: And then, just like that, after I clicked the 3 stripes button at the top of the project panel and chose New Bin from there, it worked, and using the new bin icon now works again. Bugs. What ya gonna do…

Here’s another bug. I’m just starting my first new project with the new updated PPro. My first three “bins” were created just fine, but each one would open like 4 times in the project panel. That was bad enough. When I dragged images to my “images” bin, only one of the instances of “images” bin would contain the images and I’d have to go through each of the other instances to make sure they were empty or didn’t have other images in them before I closed them.

Now, when I try to create another bin and name it, PPro just takes one of my already created bins and renames it. In other words, if I have “greenscreen”, “dialog”, “sound fx” and I want to create a new bin for “images”, it just takes one of the previous bins, like “dialog”, and renames it to “images”. Major pain!

    Anyone else?

Oy, never mind. It took 47 years but the brown acid finally caught up with me…

That definitely sounds more like something AE could do. I don’t think you can write scripts for Premiere Pro. You might want to look this over while waiting for a more definitive answer from here.

Keep in mind they’re a bunch of jerks over there but there is some helpful information pertaining to your question.

Here is what appears to be all of the AE scripts available for Premiere Pro

In fact I’ve never commented in this thread. Although if it works I’ll be more than happy to take credit 😉 But, seriously, I didn’t post that comment. Moderator! Moderator!!!

Well, I’m FAR from your last hope on this board. Someone will be along now that the holiday is over to help. Good luck.

I know this sounds stupid, but maybe it’s the mouse. You said you just got the computer. Do you still have your old mouse? Try plugging it in and see what happens.

Well, my computer, which I’m positive is nothing compared to yours (a consumer PC with an i5 processor and 12 gigs of RAM, for starters) can also scrub the timeline and, with the latest upgrade, even play smoothly in 1/2 resolution compared to choppy 1/4 resolution, but if I put the wrong combination of effects onto a clip, I also get performance so slow it literally takes 15-20 seconds to change those parameters you’re talking about, and I can’t even scrub it, I have to click on the number, wait for it to be highlighted, the manually type in the new number, then wait another 8 seconds for it to take effect.

Does your problem happen to you even without effects added to your clips?
