Are you going to youtube and uploading there, or are you using the upload feature in Media Encoder? I’ve had that fail on more than one occasion, but never any problems uploading from their website.

Select all the clips in the timeline, right click, and choose between either “Set to Frame Size” or “Scale to Frame Size”.

Thanks, Mike, but I’m an amateur who does this for fun. If I had extra money to spend on spyder’s I would put it into a faster PC, for one thing. I realize I’m trying to do this on the cheap and I expect to get less than optimum results. I just want to get close enough, for my own satisfaction. Cheers!

Since I do this strictly for myself it doesn’t pay to get calibration equipment. I’d rather put the money into a faster PC. Anyway, this is my last attempt. I downloaded some stills from one of those beautifully shot Maybelline commercials and checked out the scopes. Then tried to get them as close as possible with a still from my video. Here’s the result. And thanks again for taking time to help.

Thanks, Vince! It appears that compared to your version I’m increasing saturation too much and darkening just bit. That’s just a look I go for, but I definitely need to cut down on my saturation. Cheers!

ok, I’ve seen that tut before and the guy annoys me. I hate those stupid “I’m funny like Andrew Kramer” routines. Anyway, I did a quick correction. This time I made the changes to the flat image (I did it to the tweaked image before). I’m including the corrected image and the same image with some post. It looks not as red heavy as before. Anyway, let me know. Suggestions also welcome (Too dark, too saturated, etc)

I meant perfect according to my scopes. Are you saying if the lighting is too dark, for example, then I shouldn’t get my skin tones between 50 and 70 IRE?

Hey Vince, thanks for responding. I DID use my scopes. I didn’t go by what the skin tones were looking like at all. I cropped down to my forehead and made adjustments until my skin was between 50 and 70 IRE (I could only get it to between 50 and 60) and my vectorscope had a small thin line precisely on the skin tone line. And you’re saying it looks like crap on your monitor too? *sigh*
I’ll give that tutorial a shot tomorrow morning and post back the results. Thanks again.

At least you can still scroll! I have the same problem (one of those problems that Adobe can’t “fix” because it only affects a few people so it must be the graphics card, grrrrr).
What I do as a workaround (that doesn’t always work) is I keep my Project panel ungrouped so I can resize it. When those icons disappear I just resize the project panel and they’ll appear. I wish it would work for the scrollbar! I have the same problem with cc2015.4 but at least they always reappear, along with the scrollbar, when I resize the Project panel.
