  • Me too! I was gonna throw ’em a couple of bucks 😉

  • Yes, you should be very worried 😉
From my own experience the lumetri sharpening goes nowhere near as intense as unsharp mask. You have a lot more control with unsharp mask. Of course I’m an amateur, but I like to answer posts that seem to get ignored. In other words my opinion is basically worthless.

I said this before and I’ll say it again. Do NOT install Windows 10. Not only are there a ton of people complaining about getting Adobe to work properly with it, mostly video driver issues, but it’s one big spyware program. It collects keystrokes, passwords, credit card and bank info, your location, etc. Stay away from it.

Well, not to discourage you, but I didn’t have to change any default settings to get it working properly.

I have never had that problem, either in CC 2014 or CC 2015. Whatever sequence is highlighted out of 4 or 5 when I close Premiere Pro, that’s the sequence that’s open when I go back to the project. It’s even at the same spot in the timeline. And I don’t have a professional work station by any means.

  • The problem is, why does it show audio/video sync errors when there are no errors? Also, even though they are in fact in sync, why does the mp4 file show a sync error to youtube when uploading? Obviously something is wrong, and although it doesn’t affect me as an amateur, surely you pro’s with your 24 tracks of sound and other effects wouldn’t want to run into a sync error that prevents you from completing your projects, right? But, hey, if you’re not worried about it, why should I hound Adobe about it. My copies expire in 2 days, anyway.

  • Because it’s obviously seeing something in the render that Premiere Pro is creating, and therefore Adobe’s “fix” is only turning off the error message. If you go to Adobe’s forum you’ll see there are a LOT of people complaining about this, not just me.

Again, youtube doesn’t throw an error message when I render in Premiere Pro CC 2014 or Media Encoder CC 2014 so obviously it’s a Premiere Pro bug, not youtube.

  • James you magnificent bay-stid. That did the trick. Thanks!

  • No, that’s why I said it’s a false sync “error”. And it’s not youtube. Before the update and before I did the adobe suggested fix, Premiere Pro also gave false warnings about audio and video being out of sync, even when I used the original audio and dragged it onto the timeline with the video. When I render out of CC 2014 there is no such error message from youtube.

  • That did not do the trick.
