Didn’t someone some other time mention that you should uncheck “Import Sequences Natively” under the General tab of Preferences, in the “Premiere Pro” section? That having that checked would also cause the sequence to be imported into Encoder minus the color corrections made to it?

Bitrate is 30min 56 max
Export settings are (and have always been) h264 – Match Source – High Bitrate.What would you suggest? This is h264 .MOV footage from a Nikon D5500, with only Lumetri panel tweaks for color grading.

You can either apply your color correction to the master clip and it will apply across all instances of that clip, or you can place an adjustment layer above your clips and apply changes to all clips that way. Either way works.

ok, this is just a suggestion from an amateur, but, how about you put up a black video layer above your presentation layer, and turn that layer off. When you need it, turn it on, adjust your playhead, and then turn the black video layer off again.

Just to add another angle to this, not that it relates to your situation, but the other day I was rendering a 22 minute video. Some light color grading, a touch of sharpening. That’s it. I’d done a 20 minute video before and it took about 2-3 hours. I started this one at 11 p.m. and thought for sure when I got up the next morning it would be long done, but, no, it had been going for 9 hours and was still only 47% done. I had to wait another 5 hours for it to finish and when it was, I got an error message saying encoding failed!!!
So I started it again (both times in Media Encoder), this time it said estimated completion time 3 hours 45 minutes, and that was just about how long it took. I didn’t make any changes, I just tried to encode it again. Sometimes, these computers, you know what I’m sayin’?

Any time you add any denoiser you’re looking at hellacious render times. Most of the time it’s recommended that you add denoiser, then render, then work from those files. Denoisers on top of any other tweaks are gonna kill you.
