How to smoothly go to black while I cue the timeline
Hello everyone. I am presenting live to a room, and I need to be able to bring up black on the screen while I move the play head to a new location. What is a smooth way to do this?

ok, this is just a suggestion from an amateur, but, how about you put up a black video layer above your presentation layer, and turn that layer off. When you need it, turn it on, adjust your playhead, and then turn the black video layer off again.
