  • Achhhh,
    or maybe use AE CS6…!

  • Hi Ronny,
unfortunately there’s no way to extract render passes from Cineware…
I search a way to import render passes (Open EXR or .psd) with the right setted blending mode, as well.

  • Uhm… I didn’t understand, sorry…
    An example?

    Hi Cassius,
    it works!
    Many thanks!

  • Hi Ronald,
I think you didn’t well understand my issue. In After Effects, I’ve already made Optical compensation (and stabilization) on my clip, before tracking it in mocha.
What you can see in the frame before attached is really a curved billboard (in Piccadilly Circus, London) and it is not a optical distortion!
Therefore I tracked it normally but than I applied Insert Tool / Warp to distort this corner pin to match the real curved shape of the billboard. And I made it but I don’t know how to export rightly this curved corner pin in AE.

Anyway, to be clearer, I attach an other photo to explain you what I mean:

So, in this case as well, if you want to add a billboard to these curved balconies, you have to create e curved corner pin…

I hope to have been clear now.
    Bye and many thanks!

    Oh, all right now!
    So, many thanks!

  • Great, Chris,
now all is clear but you answered just to the first question…
What about setting Sequence with different format footage?
    Thanks!

  • Hi Ann, my issues are…
so, I’ve many SDHC card with different AVCHD footage. Something is about an argument, something is about an others. Therefore, I need to take JUST the .mts files about an argument cause I can’t copy an entire SDHC just only for am interview.
I think maybe I should to take (Copy) from an SDHC card ONLY the clip I need and all other folders (AVCHD Tree) and impost that in Pre Pro.
We have not this problem with .mov from DSRL cause there are any tree folder.
But what about Sequence setting? If I have for exemple AVCHD footage and .mov footage, which kind of sequence setting have I choose?

    Thanks.

  • All is right, Adam, but if you have seen the video, it obtained what I said in another way (really easier) and therefore I thought that maybe there was something wrong.
    Anywhere, many thanks.

  • Hi Adam,
I didn’t talk about rotation… i just said that in that video, the Camera coordinates (axes) have the same orientation (better, direction…) of the Null, so the Null’s blue arrow has the same direction of the Camera’s Blue arrow… and how don’t know how or why…
I can just obtain the same Camera and Null coordinates orientation targeting BOTH ITEMS, but the arrows look at each other… shortly the coordinates have same orientation (XYZ) but not the same direction AS WELL, as in the video.

These are the screen shots with all setting.
