    Hello everybody,
AE CC doesn’t import .AEC files and I don’t know how to import my Cinema 4D render passes to completely dale compositing.
I try to use CINEWARE but I can see any single render pass… so, if you want to change Opacity or blur a single pass, you cannot make it! So, there is a way to import in AE CC in the right way as .AEC (with a correct blending mode, of course).
Maybe there’is a plugin? or a AE import preset?

    Help please!

i know that you can use open-exr layered files
to get the right blend modes into c4d,
maybe it alo works with other output formats,
i am not familiar with the newer features of cinema
with that, i think you can extract them easily using cineware,
but gettting the blendmodes, thats something i didnt try jet.

but would be sweet to know,

    cheers..

    Hi Ronny,
unfortunately there’s no way to extract render passes from Cineware…
I search a way to import render passes (Open EXR or .psd) with the right setted blending mode, as well.

Try installing the latest C4D->AE/cc plugin: https://www.maxon.net/support/updates/plugins.html
