    Thank you for the reply.

    I tested the memory and no errors were discovered. Just to make sure, i bought another 2Gb and i’ll try rendering again later.
    Sending it to Sony is out of the question since i can’t wait for so long and i live in a country where there is no Sony software rep.
    I’ll use vegas only for simpler stuff, i start to believe is simply incapable of dealing with large amounts of data and FX (not that i know Premiere or FC would deal better with it). I’m sure Windows doesn’t help either.

    after few complete crashes i got this message during a render of 10 seconds (9 tracks on solo) with only one jpeg (480×270) and all the FX for those tracks turned off…

    No. Some stills mostly PNG, some of the footage is WMV at 720/576 but all footage has been rendered previously in vegas on the same computer.
    I tried to render parts where are only parts of footage from the same original file and is still failing.

    I really don’t know what can be wrong…
