It’s hard to find now an example, maybe something similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3DM8kh_jyg , but I don’t need such complex animation. Let’s try again. White background, simple word “COW” with a shadow. I want, that a lot of particles (simple rectangles) would come from depth, become bigger and build word like tetris. Is there any function in Motion, to make a lot of parts from the letter and animate them?

How do you imagine that animation with behavior? Do I have to make all that rectangles by hands, animate every of them and build the word? Maybe I don’t explain what I really want. I’ll try to find some examples.

But what about transferring progressive to interlace? Does compressor do a good job?

Slow down. Why do you sugest me to buy other HW and SW if I was asking for FCP plug-in, which could work great like twixtor and could see real time preview like with built-in FCP speed control. It there is no such a plug-in, you could just write it, but there is no need to be ironic.

I don’t know what you wanted to say, but my workstation isn’t laptop. It’s Mac Pro with 2×2.8 Ghz Quad core intel xeon procesors, 8 Gb RAM + G-Tech RAID5. I’m complaining because I can’t see the result in real time. The quality of preview can be poor, but I want to know where I can make a cut and feel a dynamic of the clip. Later rendering can last forever.

All settings are set to the best. Earlier everything was ok.
