I’m looking for advanced FCP training book. I have already purcased Encyclopedia of color correction. I found a lot of similar books, could you sugest, wich one is the best?:

Advanced Color Correction and Effects in Final Cut Pro 5
The Craft of Editing with Final Cut Pro
Final Cut Pro 6 Beyond the Basics
Advanced Editing and Finishing Techniques in Final Cut Pro HD
Advanced Editing Techniques in Final Cut Pro 5

    Maybe there is more?

    Thank’s a lot.

What version are you using? Some of these books are for different versions and may not work with the version you’re using.

    All the best,

Buy them all. You did not specify what you mean by “advanced” so they’re all relevant.
Hhaving book sis meaningless if you don’t take the time to go through the material. Most people don’t. It takes a solid 40 hours to slog through the entire tutorial regime in the Advanced Editing FCP 6 book.

You also want two or three Motion books.

It’s hard to say. I think something about effects in FCP.

Check out my book: “Motion Graphics and Effects in Final Cut Pro”. It’s all about creating video effects in Final Cut Pro. It’s still viable in the latest version of FCP. In fact, effects workflow has not changed much since FCP 1.

You can buy it here on the Cow Store.

Start with Beyond the Basics. Editions for older versions duplicate a lot of the material.
