Thanks Steve. As you suggested, I went back into vegas and combined the two rendered files. When I ran the new render it took only 12 minutes! I’ll be using that little trick in the future for sure. I completed the 70 minute project last night, and it looks great. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for your help Mike. I may just pull out my old computer to complete this project. I feel like I’m going back in time creating this to be shown at a wedding reception. All of the groom’s historical video was shot in 8mm video cassettes. I can only play those on my old Sony DCR-TRV310 camcorder. I was copying the highlights to my Panasonic b/c it had the USB cable to connect to my new PC. I wish I could just copy everything to my SR11, but I don’t think there is any way to connect my DCR to my SR11.

I was afraid of that. My new computer only has USB and memory card input.
