Hi – I love vimeo and understand how difficult it is to get a good-looking video to post. A user there posted a video on how to convert AVCHD to the proper format for Vimeo. Maybe you can use the second part, depending on your source video. Anyway, give it a look. There might be something useful there. Good luck!

I see . . .I understand. Thanks for the reply. There’s so much to chase down with video editing (at least that’s my experience), I’m a little burned out now. I’ll pick up the torch another day . . .Cheers.

I had actually – but I received this msg from Customer Service:
Thank you for contacting Sony Creative Software.We currently do not support the Canon AVCHD at this time.
Really odd because I previously was able to edit the videos . . oh well, I’m done. Thanks.

Hi All – I just posted with the same problem. Weird thing is that I was opening and editing with m2ts files with movie studio platinum with no issues, but after adding Vegas pro 8b (and 8a) neither program will even import the files. UGH! It’s probably some simple setting somewhere . . .any ideas out there?
