I’ve found that if you open the mp4 in quicktime and save it as a .mov.It will then open in premiere

That would make a lot of sense as it seemed in the past that my hard drive was filling up probably as I had multiple copies of the same file!

Thanks for this.Unless i’m doing it wrong,all that seems to do is put a frame round the pic in the roject window with a target in the middle?

I too have the same rerender and offline problem.It seems to be a farly massive bug yet nobody at Adobe has a fix!
