Thanx for the expression but that’s not what i meant
using what you suggested i still need to adjust the two layers myself which is better then to adjust 10 layers
but i wonder if there is a way to do it automatically
is there an expression to know the layer width? -

i tried threshold and it only gives me black and white lines that doesnt look near like what i want also if i add tint or any other color correction on top of it it doesnt effect it only if i use it on adjustment layer
what am i missing here? -

Thanx for the reply i didnt talk about the background only the figures i tried the threshold and also the thresholdRGB but it doesnt seem the way it was made

Im using XP pro dual core AMD with 3GB
i tried exporting the file to different MOV files and got the same duplicating frames
i also tried to export to AVI and Img Seq and it worked ok so maybe its something with Quicktime
another option i can think is different is in AE 7.0 you can Hold alt and open the Quicktime and i couldnt do that in CS3

so you had the same problem with your CS3 or not?
it plays fine on my computer also but not when you move frame by frame ill try an export it to different file type but its weird why it works fine on AE 7.0
i didnt post it on adobe i wanted first to see if its something i can fix myself or maybe its a bug with my CS3 and if it is ill send mail to adobe -
The problem is not when you ram preview try using the page up down
and see if its ok -
I didnt changed anything in the interpret footage its is off
its the same in AE 7.0 i dont know whats the difference

I checked the suggestions you posted
and this what i do
i imort the file into AE and its a 23.976 frames i drop it on the make new comp button and when i press the page up page down i get this result good frame freeze frame then good then freeze then two frames ok then freeze then ok then two freeze then three ok and so on and if i take the same footage and import to AE 7.0 it play ok when i use the same page up way
can someone please check the link i posted on CS3 and see if thats playes ok
