Do you mean
you replaced the internal sys drive, re-install os X10.4.9, and Final Cut..and everything worked fine?
and when you had that problem you were working on FCP 5.4.1..
just wanna make sure I got it right..

I don’t have the time to test too much….just like you…
because the machine is being used 10 hour/day..with that big project, digitizing the last tapes…and it’s working….
as long as I don’t move away from FC6…otherwise..freeze..fast clock..and spinnig rainbow ball in that order and forever….

I wich I can solve this bug tomorrow…(so I can upgrade the other station to FC6, knowing that it will run my project) as we move next week to the cuts and I was willing to run both machines at the same time each working on different parts and copies of the big project..
…but if I don’t..I’ll probaly going to re-install everything at night..
and start from the very beginning.
