    Thanks,

That is a very obvious possibility that I hadn’t thought of. I have a TRV900 that I can do that with.

Thanks for responding. The main problem reported has been full deck control on capture and printing to tape. Crash recording and printing have been reported by Avid users and the same for PPro, including inability to capture more than two audio channels. A number of users have said that they have had to revert to scenalyzer live to capture. Some have reported that they have been unable to use the camera as a deck at all. Part of that is because Avid does not officially support the XL2. I gather that FCP does support the XL2, but I am on a PC.

Thanks Chad, sorry to not have responded sooner. Out of town.

When you say you ‘went another direction’ what do you mean. I presume you mean that you had to go to another NLE. If so, which one? I too wanted to use PPro with mine (which I have not received yet.

I am very disappointed to hear that PPRO will not work with the XL2. Have you contacted Adobe? I am finding it very hard to get feedback on the status of the XL2 with Adobe.

Thanks Scott, but I am not sure what you mean by the ST2 tracks? Also, am I right in presuming you have no trouble controlling the deck when you print to tape?
