No Picture in Video Window
by donald gibson on Feb 26, 2010 at 12:26:58 pmHello All
I have this problem. When I select a video clip from my hard drive to preview in the video window, I get sound no video. When I click on the event in the explorer window I get a picture. When I drop it to the time line no picture, just sound.I have click on the Trimmer Tab to disable the video monitor preview button. Just one problem there, I cannot see or fine the monitor preview button. I an running Vegas Pro 8.
What am I missing?I have the following setting as far as I can see in the Trimmer Tap.
(1) Sort Trimmer history (2) Clear Trimmer history (3) Remove current media form Trimmer history (4) Save markers/regions. (5) Open auto editor (6) Create Sub clip
(7) Select parent mediaThanks

Re: No Picture in Video Window
by donald gibson on Feb 26, 2010 at 4:05:34 pmTheo, I thank you and Terry for helping us old people (me) who do not understand this stuff. I download Pro 8c, went to Trimmer, cut the monitor off. I works just like you said it would. What I don’t understand, why it quit working in the first place.
Thank you very, very much.
DonIt does not work. As long as the picture is open in the Trimmer, I get a picture in the Video Window, take the picture out of the trimmer, and put it on the time line not picture.
I don’t understand, help

Theo,I have a tape captured with Vegas. Will Scenalyzer divide the scenes from this tape? Or will I have to capture the tape over again with Scenalyzer? So that the scenes are divided as it’s captures?
Thanks again
