A “bloom” effect would be a good place to start. (blur the brights)

Or even just a Blur? or a Color adjustment to lift the mids to a higher level

On PC you need both Quicktime (maybe Pro)

You also need to find the Apple ProRes Decoder to get it to work within Premier
I have not looked it up in quite a while but I think this was it.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the responce 🙂

The mac has been in for the’long’ hardware tests in the past few weeks as the new ram was mostly faulty. 3 chips supplied had to be replaced. The tests came up clean every time even though the ram was faulty to begin with. The ram died days after.

I have experience the occasional CPU core crash / misfire but it is not a regular thing.

I am running 10.7 on the system.

It seems very random when the system crashes. I have been told to keep the sequence within the present settings but that does not seem to help. I mostly deal with ARRI Raw and Proress 422.

  • There is allot of Zacuto stuff in there including the EVF.
The rails and cage look like red rock from the blue clips.

The camera is a FS100. Not sure what the matte box is

    Hi,

Within Quicktime make sure in the preferences ‘enable final cut studio color’ is ticked. It may off been deselected with an update?

Also just to make sure – are you changing color space / depth / codec?

Might be worth finding an old version of compressor / reverting back to an older backup. New OS’s always have glitches. It’s always worth waiting as long as you can until the inevitable upgrade.
