    we are getting the same problem here on OS 10.5.5 and FCP 6.0.4. on 3 different machines.
    Actually at some times the Save All command under File is not even highlighted (just like when you want to hide an app and it won’t so you you need to do Show all before you can hide it).
    The worst is that it pretends to save it, puts the right time and all but does not save the changes made since last opened. Same with the autosave vault.
