If fcp x behaves in any way like fcp 7 did, then it is really what iit says – no sequence. Not sure about. Fcp x but fcp 7 would create and XML for whatever was selected. Ie if you would try to make an XML after starting the project with no sequences selected in the project window nothing would go out.

I am curious that instead you have encountered the same bug as I did, when the GUI becomes unresponsive and woud not respond to input from either keyboard nor panel, but only the mouse.

“I have no issues copying and pasting nodes. Just like in Resolve 8 make a new node then copy an existing, select a new one, paste.

Just an observation.
I have been testing the use of Adobe Speed Grade with Tangent Wave. One of the most shocking revelations to me was that what I thought to be a technical limitation of tangent wave is not at all. I am talking about GUI driving the panel. And panel driving the GUI completely. To clarify: whenever you click with a pen or a mouse on any part of the SG interface that can be controlled by a panel the panel responds and stats the control and displays maps that would work in the current tab/room. -
I am sorry I cannot answer this question. I remember that running as an Admin (on PC) helped me with cache and stills issues. When I was running on my MBP just running the Fix the Permissions in Disk Utilities helped with a message about not being able to save the still due to issues with the directory. That was for V8. Important to point out I had an Admin profile on mac.

If you meant Decklink Extreme 3d, then yes it is possible. Try to make sure that you are using a correct HDMI out on the decklink break out HDMI panel, that your internal HDMI cables are not lose inside the computer chassis and that you are driving the correct signal that your consumer screen can understand. Ie you might be having a 24 fps project and configured your resolve video monitoring to put out 23.976 yet your screen will only understand 59.94, then you would want to chose a 1080PsF as a monitoring signal.

In a past fixing permissions/assigning user rights depending on the OS to the directories used by Resolve and/or running as an Admin would fix similar issues.

I think that is exactly what happened. Ie an original source was referenced a few times in an NLE. Resolve refers to the same source at the OP uses clip attributes, meant for technical flipping due to converters/3d rigs for flipping an image for creative/continuity purposes as opposed to using the sizing controls in conjunction with versioning to break away from remote version 1.
In all looks like a RTFM/new user type of a problem -
Image flip is intended for flipping them for technical. From what it looks like you needs to do it for creative. Hence version/ RPTZ.
