If it makes things easier this is what it currently looks like:

This Is what it looks like in a sequence with the right settings direct from the bin:

and this is what I get when I try to fix the settings either by changing them in sequence settings or moving the clip to a sequence with the proper settings like the one above:

Thanks for the video Rafeal, I watched it and it will surely come in handy in the future, I love being a filmmaker I’m just terrible at the tech stuff and am still learning, the videos great for what to do next time, and I know what I wrote is pretty confusing but I already edited the whole project and can’t start over, so basically is there any way to “change the sequnce settings to match the clip settings” for the whole timeline after the fact, I’ve tried to do it manualy in sequence settings but it just makes the clip really tiny

    Thanks for any input

Thanks for the response zane, looking back my post may have sounded a bit confusing and I’m certainly still learning but I mispoke when I said it was converted to h.264 I meant to say I converted it to apple pro res 422, I guess my main question would be is there a way to resize or reformat a whole timeline to its proper settings if its already laid in incorrectly??
