Well as of today, the specs have been revised it will be displayed on a 32 inch LCD monitor at 1080p
I assume this will mean that I should set this up at 1920×1080 Square pixels. I wonder if I can possibly to this at the same aspect ratio but 1/2 to 2/3 actual pixel size and then scale up my comp in after effects and get reasonable clarity. I don’t think I have the fire power to render my 3d portions at that pixel size and frame rate.

When I plug in the size in my comp settings the frame rate defaulted to 24fps. Is this right? Isn’t it supposed to be 29.97?

Thanks for all of your help.

Thank you guys very much!!!!!!! I will do my best to create things at that resolution and frame rate, but I might need a render farm soon for that kind of resolution out of C4D. 😉

The information was exactly what I was looking for. Does anyone think that 1360×768 is a little strange as a resolution or is this fairly common.

    Thanks,
    E

    Hi,

I am back with this weird request. I managed to re-render things larger in photoshop 3d etc.. and recompile the whole thing at the size they wanted.
Now they are asking for another one with similar specs. I have gathered that they are showing this on a 32 inch LCD display. From what I can tell the final video will be played using a computer with Quicktime I assume. I will get more details. They want it to fill the screen. They are saying that if they simply have it display full screen in quicktime things look pixelated. Any help trying to come to a sensible decision on what size to actually create the comp would help.
