I managed to get a 1280 x 720 (1,0) output with square pixels, but I can spot a slight letterbox now. Puzzled.

I put in all client’s settings manually. Client wants “DV 25 widescreen square pixels”, 1280 x 720 (1,0), 25 fps, lower first, VBR, 1 pass, target 3,00 Mbps, max 10,00 Mbps, AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, stereo. When I use these settings AME puts out 1280 x 720 (1,094) pillar boxed?

I regret ‘finally’ updating from 10.6.8 to the latest 10.8.1 to be honest. All is functioning for broadcast purposes, e.g. Streambox (HD not yet supported), but FCP7 is having one big issue: I cannot export anymore! FCP7 is just exporting the first frame(s) and all audio so really not ideal. Need tips. Thanks!

i assume you don’t have access to the particular camera you used? Otherwise you can still repair those clips with that one.

Just bought an interface board called AJ-YAD800MC. Now running a Firewire out on my camera and having no problems with the bgan unit.

I bought my unit in the UK and yes, it did came without the Firewire nor SDI output. I keep looking for a solution.
