cannot import preset
Posted by Dieter Depypere on June 14, 2016 at 12:02 pmHi there,
I’m trying to import a preset of a client via in AME 2014 (v. 7.0.0.374) but it doesn’t appear in my presets.
Please advise. Thank you.

June 15, 2016 at 2:44 amWhat’s the closest preset to it you have in AME?
Can you load that and modify it to what you need?

June 15, 2016 at 4:11 amI put in all client’s settings manually. Client wants “DV 25 widescreen square pixels”, 1280 x 720 (1,0), 25 fps, lower first, VBR, 1 pass, target 3,00 Mbps, max 10,00 Mbps, AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, stereo. When I use these settings AME puts out 1280 x 720 (1,094) pillar boxed?

June 15, 2016 at 8:36 amI managed to get a 1280 x 720 (1,0) output with square pixels, but I can spot a slight letterbox now. Puzzled.

June 15, 2016 at 8:55 amHi Graham,
I cannot find that option. Is it because I’m on an older version?thirdeyed gcv – Dieter Depypere

June 15, 2016 at 9:18 amI don’t know about versions.
I’m not in front of my system at the moment, but when you have selected the clip to modify, and allocated the desired preset to it, click on the preset, and the Fill options appear towards the lower end of the dialogue box that opens.
