Hi Walter,
Thanks a lot, that’s a really good tip! But it has a problem: it is not iterative. If I want to change the position values in the txt file, I have to make a new comp, lasting 1 frame, convert the expressions to keayframe again and set the new duration of the comp.
To put it on a nutshell: the value of the keyframe will not update if the source value of the position changes.
Again, thanks a lot for the tip. I will use that approach in the meanwhile ☺

About the expresions, I am going to surf the expresions/script forum. I think I could find a script that fixed the expresion value an then de-activates it.
I will post it here if I can find it. Otherwise, I will try to program it.

Then, your suggestion is going just for the best.
A question a bit off-topic: do you think that if once the expresion is calculated and taking into account that its value will not change during the rander, fixing the value and annulating the expresion will speed up the render?

I use expression quite hard, and if you want to make a kind of toolbox, I guess you should think of scripting better than using expresions.
May be somebody can give you a better advice, but I would start looking into scripting.
