Actually, I got it -found the subcap generator.

It seem there will be a lot of redoing. Anybody has any other suggestion?

Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for your answer. Could you elaborate a little bit on what the SubCap effect is? Is it an Avid effect? I am actually changing the font and size of the subtitles -is there a way to “convert” them or apply the effect on them?

thanks for your detailed answer.

a couple of questions: i read that one of the cons of super 35 is that the DI or optical printing is much more expensive than with regular 35mm. is that true?

also, is it possible to convert your 3-perf 35mm to 2-perf?

finally, is there any literature you can recommend on super 35mm (outside the asc manual) vs anamorphic?

Camera was set to standard def, so the footage was captured onto miniDV tape. I am playing back green on green. I will try out setting them horizontally. Will keep you posted. Thanks!

Hi Michael. Thanks for your answer. I am actually playing them back-to-back. I split the screen in thirds and I am watching the three resolutions at once. Regarding the monitor, I am viewing 16:9, with an SDI connection coming from the Adrenaline box. Is it possible that it’s some kind of software thing?
