  • Thanks Mike. I upgraded Quicktime right before I tried to load the files thinking I’d need the latest version. Huge mistake!

I went to Oldversion.com. It’s necessary to install an ad based downloader to proceed with the download. I’m nervous about doing that so I’m holding off but I looked at the Apple website and it’s possible to download Quicktime 7.6 for Windows there. Would you advise that?

Another issue I have with the ipad is that the videos I shoot look fine on the ipad but are upside down on other PC based devices. I know I shot them correctly. (A separate issue from Vegas.)

Today I made an appointment for Thursday at my local Apple store. I hope to find the solutions to some or all of the problems I’m having.

I’ll let you know if I have any luck. Thanks again for your response. You’ve helped me many times over the years and I really appreciate it!

I downloaded the latest version of QuickTime earlier this evening.

    Steve,
Great example velocity envelope synchronized with music and your video is really beautiful! I watched at 360p, small screen so I didn’t notice any blurriness. Very impressive footage with such a small camera. I couldn’t help wondering toward the end how you kept the lens from fogging when you seemed to be right in the clouds.

OK, got it. The little “V” is very hard to see but easier when I enlarged the time line and knew what to look for.
    Thanks Mike!

    Stephen,
I called SCS this morning and they sent me the upgrade to Vegas Pro 11, DVD Architect Pro 5.2 and NewBlueFX Titler Pro at no charge.
Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Nice thought Stephen but I bought it 9/8/2011 so I’m probably not eligible.

    Thanks Scott,
16 Gig is a lot of Ram. Do you think that’s more important than the processor?

Thanks Mike. Sounds like the Intel 2nd gen i5. What do you consider lots of RAM? 8 Gigs? More? (Vegas 11 already? I just got 10…)
