Hi all. I was contracted to shoot and edit a promo vid that was orginally suppose to be 5 min then was changed to 15. I did it with no extra charge as I wanted to get some gigs in just starting out. I believe the contract stated the tapes would belong to me. I have had some personal health things come up so I haven’t checked to make sure. I will try to see I can perform what the want at a fee, if not I will charge them to send the tapes out.

Good question, I don’t know but will check. Don’t worry I want compare AL to MC. We both seen enough of that. I am sure I will be getting rid of AL too. Not at this point though until I get a certified sys, and get up to par with it. Anyway keep the tut coming.

Ok you can do a copy range or move range. You set your mark in and mark out points. Place scrubber to the place you want the copy to go to and hit copy range. It places a copy of the marked clip there but only on the same track. I haven’t fiqured out how to paste it to a new track. But ya you can do it.

Thanks Douglas. Just watched the toturial. Good as always. But it is easier in AL. Ctrl C go to place in timeline Ctrl V. I have seen a lot of features I like though. I plan to watch all of your toturials. I need as much info as possible. Right now I am just working with the sample project provided in Exp Pro.

Hi Douglas just was wondering if you were going to keep making tutorials for us AL users. I have Exp Pro but plan on moving to MC at the beginning of the year. I already see the response difference. As soon as I hit a key Exp responds. It took a sec or two for AL to do that.
One future that sucks form reading post on here is the copy and paste process. Doesn’t make since to not be able to do a basic copy and paste to another video track with CTL “C”. Overall not a horrific change.
