September 7, 2005 at 8:29 pm in reply to: Adobe Audition, hardware controller, and workflow questions need answering pleaseWell if you’ve got pro tools why use Audition ? Just a question. I’m not sure what you mean with Machine sync?
You can do the routing, and the mic to a different track.
The FireWire 410 is a 4 input 10 output unit, so you can map it out. and it is ASIO 2 compatible, which is a low latency spec, and is highly configurable routing wise.
Latency is affected by system resources so if you have enough CPU power, and memory available you should be fine.

I’m thinking of getting one of M-Audio’s console controllers to link up with Audition.
I am going to buy the video collection suite that adobe offers.
Thanks,

convert the track to stereo, then select and cut the left channel, then click on the bottom of the right channel and paste, then it will be on the right channel.

This is the response I got from the copyright holders regarding the DVD Video logo as for the Zone logos I’m not sure who as the rights to those. I totaly agree with them though cause they’ve gotta maintain a standard:
“We regret to inform you that duplicators are unable to affix the DVD-Video Logo onto the duplicated DVD-R Discs on their own. Only our licensed replicator (licensed manufacturers of DVD-Video Disc) may use the DVD-Video Logo onto the replicated DVD-Video Disc.
If you need to clearly show that the duplicated disc is DVD, you may say so in an ordinary type font without Disc-shaped Logo design, or you may leave DVD-R for General Logo on the disc which was already printed by our licensed DVD-R disc manufacturer.
If you contract out DVD-Video Disc replication to our licensed replicator, such DVD-Video Disc and its package can legitimately carry DVD-Video Logo.”

I comunnicated with the DVD FLLC through email and Mr. Masahito Tanabe in a very detailed explanation gave me all the rules and I respect them all, and that is why I am going to use a local company CDT (South AfricA) as the replicator. They are listed on the DVD FLLC.
Am I correct in saying that if they replicate it would be legal to place the DVD-Video logo on my product? Please let me know if there is any other steps I need to complete as I want this product to be 100% legal.
Thanks,

Yeah, it’s pretty easy to break through, but it does stop a few of copying the disc.
I’m gonna do it through a replicator.
The other reason is that the DVD-Logo may only be used legally on pressed DVD’s not burner written disc and I reallt want to use the DVD-Video Logo.
Thanks,

aaah, found the answer.
Can’t be done. The Media cannot support it. you need 2054 byte sector size. DVD-R has 2048 2054 byte sector size, thus, no go.
