Could you perhaps consider doing a render-farm with say 2 PC’s ?

That should in theory cut your render time in half.

Hector I meant my comment in a nice way, this forum is definetly for getting help, for sure. These forums has helped me out many times!

I just meant that if you are new to a adobe product, Total Training can help you get fimiliar with and on top of the software.

Didn’t mean it in any other way.

Do yourself a favour, and invest a little bit of money into Total Training’s training DVD’s they have the absolute best training available for Adobe’s products you will find in this universe of ours.

Go to the control Panel, and then click ‘View’, and then ‘Show hidden Devices’.

Then go thru the list again, and see if the 1394 device shows up anywhere, if so delete it.

Then restart your machine, and it should say new hardware found, and then force it to use the driver that came with the motherboard.

Hi there,

I don’t think the hardware is defective. I think it is a software thing.
Under Network Connections in the Control Panel, do you have a “1394 Connection” under LAN or High-Speed Internet.

and if so what is the status of it, and Device Name.

And in Device Manager, do you have a 1394 Adapter installed under Network Adapters.

And is there a IEEE 1394 Bus host controller isntalled in device manager ?

Hi there,

Is it 1394B (800Mbps) ?, if it is uninstall that driver, and use the default windows firewire 1394 driver.

I had the same problem om my system, and when loosing the driver supplied it then picked up my hardware.

Jimmie, Adobe Audition can do that yes, the nice thing is the ful product includes a large amount of samples to create orignal music.

Another program that is good for this is Sony’s program ACID. They even have the FREE version calles ACID XPRESS, which probably would be all you need. Check out https://www.acidplanet.com, the direct link for FREE ACID XPRESS is : https://download.acidplanet.com/acidxpress.exe

Check it out, might be just what you need.
