Thanks for the help with that, Theo…

I’ve looked in the help file and online, and I can’t find info on how to use these effects. When I go to the plugin manager in Vegas, I don’t see these effects listed. I put them in my Sony/Shared PLugins/Audio folder.

Would you mind briefly telling me how I can go about using these?

Thanks for the advice Jason,

Well actually I already have the ambient noise in place, but it won’t hide the echoe unless it’s so loud that it almost muffles out the voices.

I would still like to know what this “impulses” thing is that Mike was talking about. Can someone help?

Sorry Mike, but I worked with my sound guy and we couldn’t figure out what you were referring to with “impulses”. sound Forge has the option to add reverb, which it calls Impulse.. but are you talking about an additional plugin of some sort?

thanks for the help!

I tried doing this though, and it seemed to only ADD reverb and delay to the sound file. My problem is that I already have a bit of delay in the sound, and I want to get rid of it to sound more like the characters are outside, and not inside a room.

any ideas?
