    I have increased the still cache to 40% which has worked. I think upto about 40% is as far as the system will let me. Thanks for your help 🙂

    yes, it’s a two week turnaround for a crossgrade in NZ – A long time
    to hold a client off. Any workarounds would be appreciated 🙂

    The flip4mac software is still the same – manually choose files for import.
    The machine is in the same room.

    I believe that the software available through sony only works with 5.1.1.
    I am running FCP 5.0.4
