I had CS3 installed earlier and am on CS4 now. When exporting from Premiere CS4 time line (sequence) to Media and then Media Encoder, the Start Queue button would simply blink and nothing would happen. No error message. By process of elimination I traced it to a linking problem and your fix worked like a charm. I had installed CS4 with CS3 still in operation and I suspect that when I eventually used the CS3 Uninstall it zapped the link. BTW, that Uninstall still leaves a tremendour amount of CS3 material behind which should be cleaned out.
