Thanks for the reply. I wondered if there was a way to get the shatter effect to do it. I plan to experiment with your technique sat AM.

Did you use text as your custom shatter map? Does it have to be a certain color like a mask? Do you have a sample posted anywhere? So many questions! If you don’t thats cool.
