It’s set up by enabling the check box on the selected moving layers. When it renders, it looks great, just like its supposed to. It just doesn’t transfer into Premiere Pro.

I’m dealing with the same issue. If you can use an MP4, it will work great….just like you need. I, like you, have found no way to export an h264 via media encoder with a fast start.

no doubt it’s old … the p2cms software is supposed to support it though. While a newer OS would help, I’m trying to exhaust options with this OS before I spend money upgrading such an old laptop.

You might try adding a null object or an adjustment layer on top, then add your lighting reveal effect above that. I’ve found that AE processes effects in unusual ways and more than once I’ve solved weird issues like that by simply adding a layer in between layer sources.

Finally had a few minutes to get back to this. It s o r t a worked. I think will be better with more refinement of the masks; motion; etc…but it’s in the ball park.

sequence settings are matched to the viewing/playback settings of 23.98 and I am viewing through a Matrox MX 02.
I did however, go under the view menu and turned the video monitoring to cinema display. Then I could view through my preview and canvas windows. I just have to switch back to the Matrox 23.98 setting to view via hi def.
