In addition to the Nvidia drivers your IT team need to install Cuda drivers as well. Just Google the driver, it’s easy to find.
Meanwhile, it amazes me that IT Depts like the one at your company want to have so much input and control over technology, yet they do NO research on these matters themselves, leaving it hat part up to editing staff.

Go to the Intel website and look for your onboard GPU to see if there’s a newer driver. I have an Nvidia chip in mine, so I can’t help you further. A trip to your local Apple Store might be in order…

You need to get the drivers for the GPU, not the monitors. Go to About This Mac to find the manufacturer and model, and go to the website for the correct driver for your OS, etc.

Of course, and that simply loads the default display drivers, which is why your two monitor display is not working as you’d like.
Please, in the future when seeking advice, at least try looking into the advice before rejecting it. No one here is paid, and it’s very frustrating to offer help only to have to write back again and again unnecessarily on the same topic.

Have you tried updating your monitor drivers to the latest version? If not, that’s probably the issue.

The Windows platform offers far more options to Adobe users than does the Mac platform. For example, high have the same Xeon processors, but Windows machines can have dual procs, while Macs only have one. Also, as GPUs evolve, you can swap them out in Windows machines, but not in the new Macs. For 4K workflows the flexibility and power of Windows machines is a huge advantage.

Drive speed, or drive throughput, has more to do with smooth playback on the timeline than encoding speed, unless your drive is nearly filled. Processor speed, RAM amount and RAM speed, codec type, and GPU acceptation are the variables that impact encoding.
So, to improve encoding times a new workstation is typically the answer.

Sounds like you are hitting the 4Gb file size limitation of hard drives formatted as FAT32. I believe you can reformat to another file system such as NTFS, but I don’t have a Windows machine here any longer on which to confirm that.
FYI, if you do choose to reformat, be sure to copy or move all files on the drive first.
