Don’t sweat it, the difference in fidelity between those two highly compressed bitrates is negligible. FYI, you should only be using that audio codec for the web, not for anything you will every edit again. Right?

Your logic is sound on everything… If you have a double wide slot available in your computer, and you don’t have to put the primary card in the computer, you might wring some additional performance out of it, as expansion chassis sometimes suck some performance out of the highest performing PCIe cards.

I just hope that everyone here clones their working system drive before upgrading/updating to CC 2015.

Not that I have any advanced knowledge of pending issues with the release – just trying to save few butts here in advance, just in case, as it seems there are always some issues when a big release first lands.

Actually, I am on CC 2014.2 – 8.2.0 (65) Build – the latest ver of CC 2014.

[Michael Belanger] “I might add that there is a real bug that I discovered… perhaps others do know about this….I found that if I faded on a graphic … a jpg still for example let’s say a picture of some sort….. if you fade that on and use an opacity setting of lower than 100 .. a half mix or superimpose if you will…. I found that when you rendered that out you got a noticeable blip in video level for that still… It would not fade up smoothly but hiccup at the top of the fade.”

I’ll try that here to see what I get… But, the BIGGER issue reported here with Cuda was that people were getting totally funky video playback.
