I’m at a loss as well.

Yes, the problem files open in QTPro and play properly.
Yes, the QT file I export plays back fine in QTPro.
    But FCP rejects them.
    Anybody? Apple? Help!

Tried that last week, and after your suggestion I tried it again, but it doesn’t solve the problem.

  • OK, fine. So how do I get 10.3.7 to install on my G4? I have the G5 install discs, but that doesn’t work to install 10.3.7 on my G4…

  • As to our discussion about #4 above, I have all the tracks Auto-Selected and still when I line up the playhead onto a cut in the timeline and press “OPTION-APPLE-T” to create an audio dissolve on multiple tracks at the same time, only the first track gets a dissolve. The only way I can now get this to work is if all the tracks for which I want to add a simultaneous audio dissolve are also linked together as stereo pairs. Anyone else have any good suggestions for this?

It used to work great on FCP version 3!

Consumer reports just did a great review and full ratings of large-screen TVs including flat-screens. They update regularly on comsumerreports.org.

I have not bought one yet, but they suggest considering buying a HD TV that can also double as a monitor…

Would be a good way for you to see how it looks on a television.
