Ok, so your question about what drive I render to definitely helped. I can now render a video in DNxHD by having it render to my main C-drive. The only problem now is that when I try to import my video into ProTools, it still freezes up and crashes. So, here are my render settings for the video in DNxHD:
Frame size: High Definition (1920×1080)
Frame rate: 29.970000
Field order: Upper field first
Pixel aspect ratio: 1.000
Video format: Avid DNxHD Codec
Compressed depth: 32 bpp color
Quality: High 100%
Audio:
None/Unchecked
Avid DNxHD Codec Settings:
Color Levels: 709
Alpha: None
Resolutions: 1080p/29.97 DNxHD 100 8-bit
Rendered out, it plays just fine in Quicktime player but when I try to bring the video into ProTools everything goes haywire.
