Ive heard the quadro cards are more for 3d type of work, like CAD or stuff like that they come with built in hardware that only certain 3d aplications will use ( i think )and also if your a gamer i dont think the quadro cards support the type of stuff the new hi-end games will ask for, if you dont use profesional 3d aplications i would sell it keep the ATI that is not bad at all and go on olidays with the money 😉

Maybe look out for second hand mac pro, or even build yourself up a hackintosh ( apple software with PC hardware ) ive heard they run ok but the setup is a hassle and has hardware compatibility problems more info:

Ups! i realize you meant know, ive been trying this but havent got the result i hoped, when i go to modify then timecode i get a menu :

where it says Frame To Set: either Current or First (?) ( does this matter? )

then there is the option of Source or aux timecode to be modified ( wich one is it?)

oh and doing this ive actually broken a video file, it doesnt recognize it as a video file anymore…( so be carefull people doing this!)

    Saludos Dave.

Hi John this sounds good, the files are long ones.

Im trying this but i cant seem to find the modify/timecode is it in the main viewer or under the motion tab??

could you please point me out the steps in wich i should be doing this?should i first reconnect and then modify the timecode or the other way around?

I would apreciate if you could be more specific

    Thanks David Mosquera

thats a good idea rafael!at least its better than re-editing!it is a little bit uncomfortable but could do the job, i have a few hours of edits in sequences and id prefer to do this than re edit thanks man.and if anyone has a way of doing it from final cut it would be perfect…

    Gracias amigo! Dave

Hi Walter thanks for answering, when you say manually rebuild the timeline do you mean re-editing the whole thing?or manually fitting it to place again?if so wich would be the tool or way to do it?

Hey rafael thanks again for taking the time,i actually dont understand how the paste atribute:content could help or how would i use that, and what u said about having a reference movie,do you mean having a reference of the original movie to create a movie file the same duration and that starts on the exact same frame so it automaticaly fits when i reconnect?if this is what you meant i cant do it i dont have a reference of the original! 🙁

what i have done is directly reconnected the media ,it loads fine, the only thing is that the edit is about 10 frames out of synch ( i dont mean audio/video synch i mean the edit cuts 10 frames before it should in every cut), how can i roll the whole edit 10 frames into synch??hope im explaining myself!

    regards Dave
