  • Last year I purchased the LUT Utility from Color Grading Central, so now wondering in the event there is LUT support in the next update (feature not maintenance variety type) what this means going forward. Will one still need the LUT Utility or not? The article was an interesting read and going forward things look to get interesting.

A small request here as well. Would like to choose the default spatial conform to be none rather than fit in the preferences. Until then I will select multiple clips then make the necessary changes. Now if they will only bring “Send To Motion” life would be great.

Works for me though the first time it said it was unavailable. Most likely a glitch gremlin on the loose.

It has been well past the average of three months since the last update.

Agreed. Just wishing it comes out soon. Guessing that Resolve 11 is soon to be released. Things could get interesting if they are released at the same time. Might need to get some shades when the message board lights up. 🙂

Never thought of a smart object as a pre-comp like in After Effects or a group in Motion but that is a very good explanation. How well does Motion handle a smart object? I remember reading somewhere that Motion can have issues with multiple smart objects.

  • Just saw this on Jimmy Kimmel last night:

Soccer is boring to me. Golf can be interesting. As for tennis, what is the point of hitting an innocent, little yellow fuzzy ball, with a racket, back and forth over a net?

Jimmy packed a few good jokes in there.

  • Yes! 🙂

  • Personal preference I guess. Resolve does so many things well and the new version likes even better. I rather avoid renting when possible. Mainly for budget reasons.
