It’s 4K footage no doubt, but it’s not Red footage nor does it have anything other than basic color correction applied.
I’ve checked the disk speed test on my ssd where everything is housed, as well as the operating system, but that certainly isn’t the bottleneck. I’ve got the program monitor at 1/4 and it will chug along fine for maybe 10 seconds before I start to get dropped frames.

Yes, I do have Mercury Playback Engine OpenCL turned on for the project.
Footage is 100MB/s 4K from a Panasonic GH4.

Hi Adam,
I believe I have a similar machine to the one you have. I’ve been having trouble getting my settings dialed in to really make After Effects fly but I am not having much luck. Any suggestions or recommendations on settings?
