Changing video component worked for me too, but not with the component given by Mathew Brodet. I went back to the installation disk and followed instructions on LAFCPUG on how to locate the component.
I coincidentally changed monitors at the same time and originally thought I’d bought a dodgy monitor.

Thanks for your reply. So it was just words. I’m cured.
FCP is sometimes like a woman – Always right, even when she’s wrong.

This means I can set the sequence on either 25p or 50i? Ditto for the final output of the project?

More importantly perhaps, when I analyze the plan in tools, the images imported via FCP are given the following properties
Dimension 1440×1080
Codec DVCPRO HD 1080p25 de medium quality

For the images imported via P2LOG Pro
Dimensions 1920×1080
Codec DVCPRO HD 1080i50 maximum quality

Is this a codec for the images imported or just for the reading of the imported images?
Are my images the same quality via the 2 different types of importation.

The man from P2 LOG PRO saysthe QuickTime codec used to decode the P2 material is the same. In
other words, there’s one codec that does all the 25/50 formats.

I’m monitoring for the moment on the video screen (waiting for a second screen or monitor).
During one shot, panning on a running actor, the background flickered spasmodically (and not always) rather in the way that a faulty television does.

Is it normal I see some glitches when I play the sequence in FCP but not (I think) when I export it?
