You should be fine without a blackburst generator. Unless you are doing a digital cut back to tape, your timecode in when digitizing will remain in sync with your video. Make sure that you switch your mojo to internal reference. This should be in your video input dialogue box.

the VTR and the MOJO arent getting any blackburst reference. Could this be what the problem is? And would that result in the problem occuring only when doing a digital cut? Forgive the silly question, but how can I remedy this? Do I need a blackburst generator? or can I correct the problem with the existing equipment?
