I can only pass on the following:
The file was no recorded by myself – this was done by means of a Web-based VCR service, therefore I have not yet really been interested in finding out what was used to code the file.
What I do know is that I have no problems playing this file with diverse MM players : VLC, DivX (latest), etcetera.
I probably have too many different CoDecs for one and the same type of file, and I probably do need to thin out the diversity.
Back to your question though, I did see that the ‘haali splitter’ was active during editing in PremierePro, is this suitable / compatible? What would be optimal??
